Doodh Peda

Doodh Peda a very popular Indian Sweet, saw this recipe in many blogs and many told me about this simple recipe but I was not so confident making them at home. Finally made them yesterday,I went to Saibaba Aarati yesterday even and wanted to make this doodh peda as Baba like this sweet very much. They really turned out well.Wanted to share this easy recipe with u all...most of u may be knowing this but few like me may not be knowing so this is for them.
Ingrdients:
Unsalted Butter:1 stick(1/2 cup)
Milk Powder:2 cups(Bought this 4m our Local Indian Store)
Sweetend Condensed Milk:14 oz can
Few Dry Fruits for Garnishing.
Procedure:
1.Take a wide microsafe bowl and put in the unsalted butter stick and microwave it for 1 min.
I didnt freeze the butter and kept it at room temperature for 2 hr before I made this dish..depending on the state of the butter time may vary for it to melt.
2.When the butter melts add the sweetend condensed milk and mix well,Now put 2 cups of Milk powder and milk well so that it becomes smooth with no lumps.
3.Now microwave this mixture for 3 mins, after every minute take out the bowl and mix well and then repeat this for 3 times.
4.Fianlly give a good mix and let it cool down for 10-15 mins, this mixture will be too hot so be carefull before handling this.
5.After 10 mins, apply little ghee or butter to your palms and take small portions of the mixture and make them into small balls.discs or any desired shape and put in a plate which is greased with butter,so that they wont still to the plate.
6.Finally press in raisins, cashews, pistachio,do it very soon you make the pedas, this helps the pedas to hold them as they pedas will be soft.U can even check the video link from Showmethecurry.com here

Make this easy sweet and enjoy during festive time..
